It’s official: Kate Bosworth is married to director fiancé Michael Polish. The ‘Straw dogs’ actress and her ‘Big Sur’ director fiancée tied the knot in an intimate and romantic ceremony at The Ranch in Philipsburg, Montana.
Engaged in august last year, the couple had sealed the deal exactly after a year on Aug. 31 in presence of almost 70 guests including Polish’s daughter, Jasper, 15 from his first marriage with Strettell.
It is first marriage for the blonde actress, and Kate looked every inch the picture of poise in her Oscar de la Renta dresses that she had chosen for the ceremony and reception.
The strapless wedding gown in ivory radzimir-satin was stunning. It has a plain and minimalist appeal from the front while turning to back, the ball gown has a dramatic fall of fabric. The cathedral length veil finished the dressing. Kate punctuated her bridal charm with brilliant estate diamond jewels from Stephen Russell. Her bling, other than the engagement ring and wedding band, includes a Victorian headgear and a pair of classic diamond studs.
The bridal gown was an emotion booster for Kate as she was overwhelmed with the romantic association of the dress with her personality. According to her, the gown was a reflection of her love for Michael and shows the kind of woman that she would become.
For the reception that was organized at the property’s Granite Lodge, Mrs. Polish swapped the ball gown with a scalloped cap sleeved floral embroidered tulle gown.
The matching platinum wedding bands were another highlight of the ceremony. Kate’s diamond engagement ring was beaming with pride after receiving that simple yet elegant platinum band.
