The Oscar fever is on!!! Everyone nominated will be having butterflies in the stomach and they are also trying to make the night most memorable by wearing their best dress and jewelry (All eyes will be on them). This is not the first red carpet event of the year! We already have the Golden Globes, SAG Awards BAFTA Awards etc where there was a long parade of women in glamorous gowns and expensive jewelry starting in January but the Oscars is the GRAND FINALE. So, as we all know the best is always saved for last so the night is definitely going to be spectacular!!!

As for Bouwer’s Oscar predictions it is going to be white ivory and even bright colors. While designer David Meister feels that bright colors will also be there as they may look more eye-catching in the photographs. A jewelry expert and stylist, Michael O’Connor says that one of the main trends that we are expected to see in this edition of Oscars is bold colored gemstones. This trend has been seen throughout the award season red carpets. Even in the Nineties gemstone jewelry was very popular and the craze for these colored gems only increased with bigger diamonds on the red carpet. It is expected that the Tanzanite and diamond earrings as well as sapphire earrings may be a popular choice of the celebrities.
The another prominent jewelry style that is going to be seen at the event is statement mega drop earrings, which is definitely the go-to trend for this year and is popping up everywhere. Expect these earrings to be large and practically touch the collarbone.
As for the wrist again there will be statement cuffs. Vintage designs with chunky cuff styles and geometric shapes will be popular.
